The gap between where organisations are and where they could be is rarely about resources. It’s almost always about thinking.

That conviction has driven my work for over 20 years — across government, for-purpose organisations, and the private sector in Aotearoa and Australia. I’ve helped organisations navigate strategic change, secure funding, and build the capability to execute — including delivering 600 transitional housing places and securing $40M in government funding at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.

I founded ARTOV to bring that quality of strategic thinking to mission-driven organisations that don’t have the budget for traditional consulting. I built thinksprint™ as the tool to make it accessible.

I work exclusively in the for-purpose and community sector. That’s not a marketing position — it’s a values position.

Patrick is a highly qualified consultant with a wealth of experience in the fields of education and media, and more recently climate change and sustainability.

He is self-motivated, solutions-oriented and a master communicator. He can effortlessly build trusting relationships with clients which enables him to best understand their needs and deliver valuable advice and solutions to their problems.

His involvement in strategy, sustainability and climate change extends beyond an interest. He is actively engaged in growing awareness at Victoria University of Wellington, recently completed a professional consulting engagement on the impacts of climate change for Foodstuffs New Zealand, and contributed to national-level workshops on Climate Change Scenarios for the New Zealand Tertiary Institutions.
